Five national teams will compete for the World League’s No. 1 spot, currently held by Israel, as well as for the prestigious Grand Prix title – also currently in the hands of the blue and whites.

For the first time, the Grand Prix has been expanded to five participating teams, creating a fascinating and action-packed schedule featuring ten matches over three days.

World No. 1 Israel will open the Grand Prix on Thursday, November 19, against Slovakia, who will be making their first-ever appearance in the competition. Later that same day, Israel will face Brazil in what promises to be one of the highlights of the tournament – a direct battle between two of the World League’s leading teams for global supremacy.

On Friday, November 20, Brazil will open the day against Slovakia and will also close the second day of competition against South Korea, the World League’s highest-ranked Asian team.

The final day promises to be particularly demanding for Hungary. After finishing runners-up at the Masters and third at the previous Grand Prix, the Hungarians will face Israel in the opening match of the day before taking on Brazil in the final match of the tournament.

World League analysts once again see Israel as the team with the strongest chances of successfully defending its Grand Prix crown. However, with five of the world’s leading teams competing in the expanded format, an intense and highly competitive battle is expected from the opening whistle until the final match.
